Roger has been working at First Stop Dealer Ghent since 2023! Bart and Aisha could really use the help, since the new website is live it is getting busier and busier.

What I love about my job is the freedom. I get to arrange my schedule myself. You feel like you run your own garage. You arrive in the morning, see which cars or trucks need a tyre change and start working. That freedom really appealed to me when I applied here.
Even if we want a day's leave, for example, we can mutually agree as long as one of us two is always present in the garage. My last job in construction was much less flexible in that respect. No, I wouldn't have it any other way. My job doesn't feel like work either: the day flies by.
What I also like is recently the witty hour. There is a food truck here in the car park and we get explanations about how well we are doing. This is fun for two reasons: you can catch up with colleagues and you feel involved in the company, regardless of your position. Everyone is equal.
The family atmosphere at First Stop Dealer Ghent is another thing that appeals to me. We work in a large garage, yet everyone knows everyone here. Admit it: that's more fun to work, isn't it?
